Had at the brewery on 6/7/2014
The cask conditioning and low carbonation gives this beer a much mellower flavor and creamier mouth feel than the standard version of fortunate islands.
Slightly cloudy, warm amber in color, smallish creamy head.
pleasant hint of tangerine and hops on the nose.
Nice tangerine flavor is not overpowering and is well balanced by hops.
Overall, I prefer the standard Fortunate Islands, but this is a pleasant variant well worth trying.
