Gifted a bottle that looks to be dated in October. Excited to try it since my experience with MT has been nothing less than outstanding. Inviting aroma of roasted malt, fresh ground coffee and vanilla extract fills the air around the bottle. Taste takes its queue from the aroma with an added earthy and toasted-brown bread flavor of the brown ale...which quickly dissipates. The backend of the sip is weak and watery. Any of the flavors that hit up front are muted midway through and then gone by the end. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. Starts strong but ends abruptly.

look is like coke, no head but lots of bubbles reside on the side.
smell is of coffee and cocoa.
taste is like coffee and sparkling water. not much flavor. kind of bland.
feel is pretty crisp.
overall its meh.
