July 17th, 2015 - Fruit beers are encroaching on San Diego, and this one is a wild growth in the orchard. This is the Plague with Peaches, and sadly, I haven't tried the Plague. Enjoyed at the Flavordome, its a lighter beer and has a rich, cereal haziness. The nose is oddly decorated with pumpkin paste and watermelon. And the taste? Like...pumpkin paste, and peach baby food, with a soft mouthfeel and strange aftertaste. It's light and chewy and ester rich.
