Appearance: After a nice bubble show, three fingers build; impressive retention and a wall of lacing appear

Smell: Cantaloupe, bubble gum and toffee

Taste: Toffee forward, with the cantaloup and bubblegum flavors appearing early; bitterness builds, through the middle and lingers into the finish though both the malt and the hop flavors come across as restrained through the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Interesting but the lack of bright hop flavors here keeps me from being much of a fan

A nice IPA but too malty, which overshadows the hop profile. Some nice lemon, grapefruit and pine notes are present but the caramel from the malt bill doesn't let them shine.

Pours a thin head on a hazy straw body.
The aroma is tropical fruits, a bit mild.
The taste is moderate lemon bitterness balanced by fruit sweetness.
The texture is crisp.
Enjoyable.

Lemon Lime, Kiwi thing going on. Interesting IPA flavor profile. Dry finish. West coast style for sure but very crackery as well. Mouthfeel has everything going for it but becomes a bit chalky the further you get into it. This one grows on me as it warms but overall, at $8.99 a 22oz Bomber, this is a one and done beer for me.

Opaque, unfiltered yellowy orange. Smells of tropical juicy fruit, especially tangerine. Taste of tropical fruit and...peanuts? Yup, I tasted a slight peanuty flavor that was actually a pleasant surprise. Another outstanding MT offering. That are just killing it right now! Cheers!

Poured a hazy golden yellow with a nice white head
Smelled of tropical fruit, citrus, mango and a hint of lemon, and a bit of grass
I tasted some lemon zest, tropical fruit, some pineapple and hops
Medium bodied and carbonation with a crisp finish.
Another good one from Modern Times!

Pours a pale yellow, murky translucence. Nose is big citrus, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, hints of tropical fruit as well. Taste isn't as big and complex as the smell. I get grapefruit, rind. Finish is much drier than expected. Fairly low bitterness. Feel is medium carb, relatively crisp. Overall, a pretty good DIPA. Wish it had more depth of flavor.

3-1-16 (bomber, Long Beach) a hazy golden color, nose is both fruity and hoppy, first sip easy with appropriate bitterness, nicely carbonated, danky/earth is noticeable after some time, overall a very good effort here
