Pours a clear golden straw color with a two finger pillowy white head that very slowly settles into a very thick, lasting cap. Excellent retention completely coating the glass with sheets of frothy lacing on the way down. Looks great!
Somewhat bland floral hop aroma that has some piney resins countered by pale malt and subtle light fruit. Was expecting more hop character. Earthy with fresh cut grass followed by biscuit malt, light fruit esters and grainy cracker. Some citrus after it warms considerably but still pretty boring.
Medium body with more hop flavor than the nose suggests. There's some grassy pine needle and subtle tropical fruit sweetness lingering over a pale malt backbone into a nice dry finish. Grass, pine sap and spruce tip bitterness countered by grapefruit, orange peel and pineapple. Pale malts with biscuit and light fruit, notably apple and pear. Well balanced and very sessionable with little to no heat. Crisp, flavorful and easy to drink.
