Awful head retention, heavy vinyl on the nose, decent to drink, but could've been used to blend rather than expose all of these off flavors. As it became very warm from ignoring the pour, it became substantially better. A true expose of off flavors and poorly raised Bretta.

Color is a lovely rose-tinted amber with plenty of foam in the narrow Kölsch glass. Aroma is sharp and lets you know this has something going on. HIghly spritzy and sharp on the tongue. Mouthfeel is distinctly tart but no whiff of vinegar. This version has PInot Noir must and four strains of Brettanomyces.
This has some malty flavors but finishes dry. The Bret also adds to the dryness but it doesn't have a lot of that yeasty character. Very fruity and zingy. Overall this is a very pleasing tangy Saison. From the 750 ml bottle purchased at Ibis Market in Mission Hills.
