Pours a slightly hazy golden amber color with apricot edges and a two finger white head that slowly settles into thick, lasting ring. Very good retention with splotches of soapy lacing coating the glass on the way down.
Dank aroma with floral hops, sticky kind buds and a subtle onion/summit presnce along with grassy resins, pine needle and spruce tip. Subtle tropical sweetness along with pale malts and light fruit esters. Earthy spruce tips really stand out along with juicy nuggets and fresh cut grass. Some caramel sweetness with toffee nut and biscuit. Smells incredible!
Medium body with a much stronger hop profile than the regular version. A blast of dank and sticky hop bitterness that lingers over the sweeter notes and pale malt backbone into a bone dry finish. Resinous pine needle and spruce tips providing nice bitterness. Very subtle citrus/tropical sweetness balancing things out. Pale malt backbone with biscuit and graham cracker. Faint onion-y summit presence but it's not off-putting. Well balanced with excellent hops and a huge sticky pine needle/spruce tip character. Very easy to drink with well masked ABV. Much better than the standard version.
