Modern Times Beer

Pours a very cloudy, dark golden straw color with a two finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Decent retention with streaks of soapy lacing left bhind.

Dank juicy hop aroma with a very earthy grassy pine character. Huge juicy nuggets/ crystallized kind bud presence dominating the nose. Smells more like weed than any hoppy beer I've come across. Very floral with weed, fresh cut grass, pine needle and spruce tip. Subtle onion-y summit character. Nice balance with sweet tropical/citrus fruit, notably grapefruit, mango, pineapple and citrus rind.

Medium body with a blast of dank, earthy hop bitterness that lingers over the sweeter notes and pale malt backbone into a bone dry finish. Resinous oils with grassy buds, sticky pine needle and spruce tips. Strong bitterness but not overwhelming with a tropical/citrus fruit presence giving off some much needed sweetness. Hints of pineapple, grapefruit, curaçao, blood orange and lemon pith. Pale malts with biscuit, apple, pear and bread rounding out the flavor profile without interfering with the glorious hops.
