From tasting notes 03/09/17
Had on-tap at Final Gravity in Roseville, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, fair haze and dirty golden yellow in color. Thin, white layer of suds. Not much for lacing aside from a few broken lines and a rare spot or two.
Smell - Aroma is fair; juicy and tropical, with notes of orange, pineapple, papaya, passionfruit and a bit of grapefruit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Prominent orange and pineapple zing upfront and throughout. Fair passionfruit and papaya mid-taste along with some spice. Faint bready malt backbone. Juicy finish, but also a fair amount of grapefruit pith and lingering pineapple acidity.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with fair carbonation. Slick texture helps it to go down easy enough.
Overall - Definitely one of the better MT beers Ive had. Maybe the best to date. Plenty of juiciness with a nice WC bitter finish.

Pours a slightly cloudy bright yellow with a nice foamy white head that sticks well. Smells like an "Imperial Berliner Weisse" if one can imagine that. Tastes like a slightly tart semi sweet and somewhat fruity wheat beer as well with a mildly buttery aftertaste. Hard to imagine this is 8% as it is smooth, dry, refreshing, and more crisp than its appearance would indicate. Overall, this was a nice and refreshing change of pace, but would not typically revisit. Not that that's an option anyhoo. Cheers!

Brewer calls this a "Double Wheat IPA." Clear golden brew with plenty of foam. On tap at the Modern Times brewery.
Just a little sharp to start, more so than typical wheat beers. Also more rich. A pleasing but strong quaff. No taste of alcohol, though. Banana and butter flavors but very light. Golden syrup.

Poured on-tap a hazy orangish yellow under a one-inch thick white head which leaves semi-rings and spots of lace. Aroma is tropical fruits (pineapple and passion fruit) with some floral notes. Flavor is fruity, juicy tropical, herbal and slight dankness. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Soft and mildly bitter finish with an unusual prickly hop spice.

On tap at the brewery
Big, chewy, hazy (hence the name) IPA, with a big wallop of pineapple essence and booze. Interesting sip, as the brew starts out like a MT IPA but finishes like a cocktail.
They're saying it's a one-off for now, but nothing set in stone.
