Boom like a volcano that was waiting to erupt. Huge massive everything in my mouth - but good stuff (get your mind out of the gutter). Huge tropical everything like the 4th of July in Hawaii.

A: Poured from the half-growler into a Duvel tulip. Body is hazy/juicy-looking with a small off-white head. No lacing.
S: Juicy pineapple and mango - big on the tropical fruit in general.
T: Modest bready malt foundation, then pineapple juice. Finishes with a touch of herbal hops as well.
M: Medium in heft, juicy in feel.
O: Very good. Sort of a west coast take on the NE IPA.
