Our relentless pursuit of the juiciest of hop profiles led us to this outrageously tasty pale ale. Big, mouthwatering flavors of tropical fruit and citrus explode from the glass, fairly commanding that the drinker return to its mysterious, hazy depths for further exploration.

Can from Brewers Haven . Hazy golden with disappearing foamy head. Aroma is citrus, light and fruity. Taste is even juicier, Citrus, tropical notes. I see the NE IPA is muscling in on classic APA now.

Crowler from Tap N Fill Idaho Falls. Pours a opaque peach color with a wirey white head. Nose is of citrus pith, floral and pale malts. Taste is where the beer loses me a bit and perhaps it’s a issue with the format I got it from. I’ll never know until I score a fresh can I guess. Not getting much of any tropical or citrus as advertised but I am getting the onion. That dreaded onion ;) some floral and doughy malts shine through and on the back end citrus ever so slightly try’s to poke through. Medium body with a crisp I’ll be it somewhat unpleasant (because of the onion/sweaty gym sock) notes related to taste. Love me some MT just down on the taste of this one a bit.

Can poured into a Modern Times Beer glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces well.
S: Juicy tropical fruit, citrus, a touch of pine, biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Juicy, tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, pineapple, peach, and apricot, some citrus, lemon, tangerine, faint lime and grapefruit, a hint of pine, biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, fairly soft on the palate.
O: I was a little worried this one would be over the hill, but it's still drinking beautifully. Another winner from MT.

Picked up a can at Kings Beer and Wine 10-21-17 for $2.49. Canned on 10-5-17.
Beer poured a cloudy orange with a nice white head that is leaving some lacing behind.
Nose is fresh squeezed orange juice, very nice!
Taste is a mix of orange and mango with a bitter rind finish.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and fairly refreshing.
Overall the taste was not quite as nice as the nose. Pretty solid beer overall.

Spaceship Earth pours an opaque bright yellow with a large foamy white head. It persists on the surface, and laces well to the glass.
Notes of unripened tropical fruits such as mango and papaya warmly invite the nose. Earthy and root vegetable flavors follow, with a long lasting wheat grain finish.
The flavor seems a bit muddled with all the previously mentioned. There is a bitter, yet creamy Greek yogurt like flavor and a minty finish.
It feels exactly as expected; smooth, lightly creamy, well carbonated, smooth, and balanced. The bitter earthy finish is just right.
Spaceship Earth might not be a go to if ever made available, but it is a fun and unique modern twist on a pale ale. It lacks the piney and crisp feel to a classic, but again meets the criteria for today's changing scene. Cheers!

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a quite hazy straw-golden amber with a fine two finger white head with great retention and a thick layer of lacing. Aroma of pale and light biscuit malt, citrus and mild tropical fruit hops, lemon, cantalope, green melon, papaya and hint of peach. Flavor is similar, with pale and mild biscuit malt with maybe a suggestion of caramel, lemon, grapefruit, lighter portions of guava, melon and apricot. Finishes with rather mellow lemon and grapefruit rind hops with a light resinous component. Not heavily bitter, but with lingering light grassy hops and residual mixed light tropical and citrus rind. Nice creamy body with good mouth feel. Except for the somewhat lighter malt, I'm not sure how this pale ale differs much from a lighter NE style IPA. The looks, smell and mixed fruit are all typical of the IPAs. The hop bitterness may be dialed back a little, but it is not really that powerful in most IPAs in this style either. Regardless of style, it is full flavored throughout with a great mixture of fruit notes and a satisfying, long lasting finish. I'm on the fence over this cloudy, fruit forward style of ales, but this is one of the better ones that kept my interest throughout a tall can. Well done, as expected from this brewery.

Was just gifted a 16oz can and now drinking in a Riedel beer glass. Hazy, light orange color with white, one finger head and spotty lacing. Smells of hops, pineapple and citrus. Moderate carbonation with some zip on the tongue. Light to moderate in body with tart and sweet orange and lemon flavors. Just the right amount of hops to balance the subtle sweetness. A refreshing IPA!
