This gloriously hazy 7.5% marvel was brought to delicious fruition via the liberal application of Mosaic, Calypso, Centennial, Denali, & Simcoe hops, yielding a profile that's complex, refreshing, and deeply fruity.

Just a slight haze on the amber brew with plenty of foam in the Piraat tulip. Endless aroma of orange with citrus peel and pineapple. Flavors of lime peel and mango. Quite sweet but it accentuates the aromatics and finishes with just the right bitter edge. It's just not the austere bitterness of common IPA.
This is a massively fruity big brew that sidesteps the whole "New England" nonsense. Clean and not murky taste as well. It's another of my current favorite DIPAs along with "Sum" from Eagle Rock and "Googly Eyes" from Wander up north. From the 16 oz can purchased at the Fermentorium. You just never know what you're going to get from MT but this one is great.

16oz can, served in a tulip glass. Pours a slightly cloudy, golden yellow body with a one and half finger white head, fair retention and bits of lacing. Smell is tropical fruit, crisp lemon zest, sweet caramel and a bit of grainy cracker. Flavour follows, nothing all too special, slightly grapefruit, tropical fruit, touch of grain, slightly astringent lemony spice, moderate bitterness on the backend. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, appropriately carbonated, moderate astringency. Solid but definitely an IPA arhat doesn’t meet the srtqbdard that Modern Times has established with their recent IPA releases.

EDIT: love Modern Times commitment to their product. I sent one email and they refunded my purchase price.
Poured from a can purchased during their can release. No haze at all! Am I even drinking the right beer? I’ve loved nearly all of their special NE-style juice bomb special releases but this was a really big miss. Along with the lack of haze, it’s also missing the mouth feel and smell one would expect of the style. Super disappointing, especially given the price of the four pack.

A: Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves some light lacing.
S: Big time fruity, tropical, stone fruit, citrus, hint of spice and pine, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Fruity, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, cherry, pear, citrus, lemon, orange, a little mild spice, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Was expecting it to be a bit hazier, but who cares. Total fruit cocktail.
