Draft at Modern Times - Lomaland.

Bright orange, opaque appearance. Mango and tropical aroma + flavors. Pungent! Really good mouthfeel.

Hazy, cloudy light orange with a small head that left a bit of spotty lacing.

Aroma is tropical with a little bit of citrus, rinds & peels first then fruits. Faint bit of earth and grassy notes.

Taste is full and fruity, sweet and delicious. Wow, a drastic step up from the aroma.

Feel is smooth, medium, pretty low carbonation, easy no-issue bitterness, slick juicy finish.

Modern Times nailed it again on another great hazy DIPA.

16 oz can into a pint glass

Orange creamcylce looking brew, a moderate pour yields a 1/2-inch wispy head...touches of lacing.

Pungent, hoppy bouquet. Rindy mango and pineapple along with grass and pine. Ripe fruity notes linger.

Flavors follow with less emphasis on the grassy aspects in the nose. Lots of tropical fruit aspects and resiny hops play off sugary malts and touches of oak. Suggestions of orange juice linger after a creamy, oily complexion coats the palate.

Another tasty NE-style IPA, paired well with my burger. Has that signature Modern Times flavor, but this one has a fairly unique flavor in itself.

Standard NE IPA. Hazy golden yellow body, one finger white head, good retention. Bits of lacing. Smell is grapefruit, tropical fruit, a bit dank, resinous and herbal. Not much sweetness. Palate is more of the same, dank tropical fruit, a bit less of the grapefruit, light resin. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, creamy and soft, nice carbonation, minimal bitterness. Good execution.

Canned 05/08/18 #008617.

Pours a nice hazy mango juice yellow. A finger head of frothy white foam that settles quickly and leaves a nice even layer of initial lace.

The nose on this is dank, juicy, and tropical. Lots of ripe mango and tangerine come through, with a malty, pithy backbone.

Such a killer flavor profile! Sweet, tropical fruit hits hard and fast. Pineapple and tangerine come through as well, and there’s just enough grassy, bitter hops to balance it perfectly.

The weight is medium, with a creamy feel and medium carb. Sticky, leaves a light film. So juicy.
