16oz can thanks to Steve. Hazy IPA. Is it hazy? Check! Normal tropical, citrus notes for the style, although the juiciness on this one was above par.;

The can art is pretty.
The pour is not, although it's not hideous. Milkshake thickness, yellow tinted with hop resins, a small white wisp of a head.
The aroma is fruity and ashen. Nothing really exciting going on here, but it's good for what it is.
Tastes fruity and ashen. Again, good for the style, but not particularly innovative. The sidebar I'm looking at right now lists Heady Topper, Julius, and Focal Banger as the 3 most commonly rated examples of the NEIPA: each of these comes in delectable waves and are marked by some sort of something, some distinction, some sense that the brewer was going for something very particular. MT5, while well-brewed, lacks that certain oopmh.

This must be the most opaque non-black beer I've ever tried to look through. It's more opaque than juice, it's more like a fruit smoothie. Tastes like that too. Hot with alcohol and tastes like fruit cocktail syrup with Sterno.
This is is simply stunning with fruit, though I don't say that as a compliment. Maybe it's a tiki cocktail in a can. Just add cheap vodka. I suppose we'll have to have a new category for Imperial New Englands. From the 16 oz can purchased at the Modern Times tasting room.

Pours the color of a hazy glass of white grapefruit juice. Has a quickly fading dense head that left only a few spots of lacing behind. The smell is citrus fruit with earthy aromas. The taste is amazing with orange, grapefruit, and a pithy bitter finish that lingers with the sweetness on the finish. A little low on carb but still a full bodied beer.

Fresh can poured into a tulip.
Hazed completely, sunset orange, thin tan head that forms a ring around the glass.
Aroma of sweet citrus and fresh fruit.
This may be the most juicy flavored beer I have had. This has a ton of sweet citrus. Orange juice, lemon and orange zest. Pineapple tropical fruit but a bit of grain and grassy earth flavors in the background add a bit of balance.
Just under moderate carbonation and a bit over medium body. A hint syrupy but not cloying.
Tasty big juicy DIPA. Not for people who do not enjoy the hazy and fruity side of the IPA realm.

Excellent brew. Love the thickness and flavor. This beer can compete with Monkish and treehouse.

16 oz can into a stemmed pint glass
Orange, creamcicle-looking brew, a moderate pour yields a healthy, frothy head leaving lacing everywhere.
Zesty, fruity, rindy aromas. Tropical - pineapple and mango notes abound. Citrus rind evens things out a bit.
Juicy, sweet flavors. Tons of pineapple essence along with a good dose of orange juice. Grassy notes work to dry the palate, but this tastes as much like pineapple juice as a beer can taste.
Probably the most East Coast-styled IPA MT has brewed.
