Poured into a snifter. In a pig dark brown color with a modest tan head. Aromas were heavy dark chocolate with modest bourbon barrel. The taste followed. Overall, slightly sweet with heavy dark chocolate notes and a bourbon barrel aspect with a large vanilla and cocoa aspect. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Overall, a nice beer with a balanced barrel presence.
