16oz can, Modern Times stemless glass. Cloudy, pulpy darker yellow golden body, one and half finger frothy white head, good retention, splotchy lacing. Smell is a nice distinct spicy rye background, juicy citrus and orange flesh, touch of canteloupe, herbal resin on the finish. No real hop burn or booze at all. Balanced between the rye and juicy hops. Not too sweet, not too spicy, plenty hoppy. Medium bodied, creamy, perfect carbonation, so much flavour that is packed into a drinkable can.

As much as I appreciate the consistency of branding within Modern Times' flagships, I really like the wraparound art on their special edition cans.
Very hazy yellow with a nice, fluffy white head.
Smells of rye, yeast, and contemporary fruit hops. A unique pallet: much more balanced than most newer, bigger IPAs.
Tastes... nice. Unique. Older Rye IPAs balanced the sharpness of the rye malt with bitter, piney hops. Here, Modern Times manages to pull off a balance with sweet, fruitier hops. The rye is less pronounced, but it still lends a nice, bitter edge that keeps the fruit from becoming cloying. The end result isn't perfect, but I think it's exactly what they were going for.
