220z bottle poured into a snifter
A- pours deep brown in color with a one-finger foamy light khaki head that reduces to leave a ring around the glass
S- coffee and vanilla take center stage initially, with a bold herbal and earthy espresso not, complimented by a creamy vanilla aroma that comes across as marshmallow cream. Undertones of char, oaky bourbon, dark chocolate, anise, stewed figs and raisins
T- sweet chocolate and earthy coffee up front are immediately followed by a blast of creamy marshmallow fluff and straight vanilla bean. Mid-palate brings out some soft oaky bourbon undertones, along with caramel, molasses and booze soaked figs. The finish gives more creamy vanilla and marshmallow fluff that lingers long after the finish
M- medium body with low carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that continues into a silky, slightly warming finish
O- one of the best executions of vanilla that I've had in a while, well done
