This holiday edition of a universally adored imperial dessert stout takes things up several delicious notches via the addition of yams, molasses, vegan marshmallows, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice. It pours pitch black with a brown head and positively sings with holiday magic that warms the soul and enchants the taste-buds. It’s Christmas come early in liquid form, and we’d highly recommend availing yourself of some before it disappears.

Had on tap. Medium black body, sudsy brown ring. This was a weird one, a grandma's leftover dessert casserole of a stout. Right away in the nose got fudge, marshmallow, vanilla, a surprising amount of cinnamon and other spices like a pumpkin pie complexion, yet together I kind of liked it. In taste however it was messier. The yams add some more depth to the malt and roast, liked that, but the spices and pure sweetness stuck out. Some sips I get marshmallow sweet potato, like that, but others I get leftover pumpkin pie and tobacco, no thanks. Feel like a great beer is trapped inside this mediocre one. Feel is full, chewy, finishing bright, spicy and sweet. Booze hid dangerously well. Don't know if I need to have again, but interesting, lots going on.
