Brewed in celebration of our forthcoming Oakland party palace, this hazy DIPA juice monster was dry-hopped with over 6 pounds per barrel of Citra, El Dorado, Mosaic and Comet.

Great juicy open, slightly warm feeling middle and creamy finish. Color is just on the bright side of murky, but I do prefer NEIPAs a bit more luminous than this one is. Good head retention. Solid, great even, but the heat in the mouthfeel of this one keeps it from being excellent.

I would have a hard time distinguishing this from the "Outside Worlds" NE released at the same time. Totally cloudy and hot with acidity. Tastes like chopped orange and grapefruit peel, but even more acidic. The aroma and actual flavor are bold and interesting, but the mouthfeel is harsh. I"m only good for a short glass of this stuff.
Huge orange aroma, but even that gets old. I'm hoping for a change in fashion at MT and a return to aromatic IPAs that don't require a baking soda chaser. From the 16 oz can picked up at the San Diego brewery.
