Conceived in collaboration with Casita Cerveceria, this mythical, barrel-aged flavor beast is part imperial stout, part churro, and all magic. We layered this beer’s rich, chocolaty profile with cinnamon, cacao nibs, salt, & vanilla before aging in bourbon barrels, opening an astoundingly tasty portal into a new dimension of soul-stirring decadence.

On tap at Arch Bridge today.
The beer pours the expected blackish brown color witg good head retention and lacing. The is attractive and complex, showcasing dark chocolate, cinnamon, light coffee and vanilla. There's sort of a roasted bread dough aroma as well, which is intriguing. Flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely in this fairly sweet stout. Mouthfeel is full, with a long, sweet, spiced infused finish. Alcohol is pretty well integrated into the flavor profile, though you can tell it's up there a bit. Drinkability is pretty good, though the combination of high alcohol and noticeable sweetness is a bit much.
Nice beer, but a little bit goes a long way. The 8 ounce pour I ordered was more than sufficient.

12oz Can courtesy of HOPTOMIC_BOMB.
Canned 3 mos prior.
More of a pastry stout technically but not a category available.
Appearance: jet black. Dark brn creamy head.
Smell: chocolate doughnuts. Syrup. Banana.
Taste: not as sweet as smell. Still very sugary. Does taste like a churro and chocolate syrup. Combine with some bitterness of unsweetened chocolate. and a hint of booziness.
Feel: medium. pleasant but not too thick.
Overall: does what it advertises. Tastes like a dessert. Not too thick which actually is ok, because I wasn’t in the mood to drink syrup. Almost no alcohol presence. Would guess 7-10% abv not 13% for sure.
