Hedge Witch - Double Dry Hopped

poured from a 16oz can into a spiegelau IPA glass. pours a turbid hazy orange with a finger and a half of form, kind of dirty looking white head. aromas of orange sherbet, juicy fruit bubblegum and orange cream soda. taste is like a slightly hoppy orange creamsicle. as sweet as it smells, it tastes twice as sweet. it’s almost as if there are vanilla beans in this beer. a full bodied mouthfeel with an oily slick finish. overall, a solid NE DIPA. it’s got the look and a luscious mouthfeel but it’s pretty damn sweet and has a bit of alcohol burn as it warms up. still, quite enjoyable but i could’ve (and maybe should’ve) split this can 2 ways.
