19.2 oz can from Hops & Bottles. Medium golden, one finger creamy head, solid lacing. Light citrusy aroma, malts. Taste brings the hops, piney, woody, grapefruit. West coast is on the rebound.

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1+ finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a thin cap; light lacing;
S: predominantly herbal with pine in the background;
T: follows the nose until the finish, when a little lemon gets added in; mild to moderate bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: I would have liked more bitterness;

This is pretty good. Its trying to keep classic WC IPA flavor in a modern style. It's everything I like: malty, hoppy, and bitter. As the other reviewer said, mouth feel ain't great. Too foamy. Over decent though, give it a try.

Found a random can at Specs. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with nice white head and good curtain lacing. Citrus and pine smell and taste. Nice earthy bitterness. I think this beer would be significantly better fresh from the tap. A bit of hop fade but overall pretty good.

I’m in my happy place. Classic west coast ipa, clear and crisp. Big aroma, lots of pine and pith, with some hints of green onion and garlic, peach juice, and sticky sap. Plays well on the palate. Glad I had the extra 3.2 ounces from the stovepipe.

90 day old can that just finally hit the shelves in my distro.
Not going to offer a super in-depth review, not sure it's fair. But I will say at 3+ months old its held up well. Plenty of citrus and pine, and minimal sweetness that I might've expected at its age. Still had fairly dry finish.
If there's another batch in the future, I'd love to try it fresher.

Look: Semi-clear golden in color with a billowing, off-white head that is slowly receding leaving sticky lacing behind
Aroma: Mandarin orange, sugar-coated strawberries, grapefruit, pine, mango, passionfruit, and some nice, sweet bready malt notes as well
Taste: Pine, a tropical fruit medley, and grapefruit thrust themselves onto the palate followed by waves of strawberry and sweet orange all crashing on top of a bready malt base. A nice resinous, hoppy bite and some dryness on the finish
Mouthfeel: Slick, full bodied, medium-high carbonation, and nice dryness and a strong bite on the close
Overall: Tasty stuff here. These folks’ catalogue hits well with me for the most part and this one is no different. I can say though I usually find their hoppy offerings more of a tweener NE/WC IPA so when I saw this, had to try it as they label it a WCIPA. Delicious tropical fruit notes along with old school pine and citrus all with a nice bite and in balance – I dig it

Can poured into a Modern Times Beer glass
A: Pours faintly hazy golden amber with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves some light lacing.
S: Dank herbal notes, tropical fruit, citrus, resinous pine, bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Tons of flavors battling it out for the lead. Fruit hits first, crushed gooseberry, passion fruit, white grape, apricot, mango, peach, anda hint of guava, spicy pine, dank herbal notes, zesty citrus, grapefruit and lemon, slight underlying earthiness, bready malt, and a little caramels sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation
O: Now we're talking! IDK what happened, but for some reason I feel like there have been more "Meh." than "Wow!" releases from MT this year. This however, is right up my alley. Awesome hop combo bringing everything you could ask for from a West Coast IPA.

Pours a slightly murky, golden copperish color followed by a full, fluffy head that retains well. Aroma is a bit subdued, smells of sweet malts, pine and some tropical fruits. The flavor is bold with a strong hop profile up front combined with notes of tropical fruits, citrus, pine, and herbs followed by a sweet maltiness.
It finishes with a prominent bitter bite but doesn’t linger or diminish from the flavor at all. Medium body with moderate carbonation and a smooth and crisp mouthfeel.
Overall I enjoyed it, it’s not up there with Modern Times’ best but it’s still good.
