This incredibly bomb imperial dessert stout was summoned forth via the confluence of Monsters’ Park, Modem Tones, Beastmaster and Suggestion Of Mass - all bourbon barrel-aged, and all crazy delicious. Once their powers had been combined, we infused the whole affair with vanilla, cacao nibs, almonds and roasted salted peanuts. It’s a liquid candy bar that will gently (yet firmly) catapult you into the stratosphere of decadence.

12oz can poured into a snifter
A- pours a thick jet black color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that has short retention
S- smells just like a snickers; roasted peanuts, milk chocolate, caramel, even some nougat. Undertones of vanilla, brown sugar and some oaky bourbon to close it out
T- Super sweet and malty up front with notes of dark chocolate, molasses, vanilla and heavy cream. Mid-palate gives a big hit of chocolate syrup, along with some brownie/hot fudge notes. The finish gives roasted peanuts, caramel and another blast of sweet chocolate syrup
M- heavy body with low carbonation leads to a syrupy mouthfeel that turns slightly foamy into a warming finish
O- a boozy snickers, well done

Im a big fan of MT chaos grid variants. This one was not a let down. Nose full of chocolate, vanilla, peanuts and a little bit of bourbon booziness. Tastes follows the nose. Sweet vanilla, chocolate, and peanuty finish. Finishes a little dry but overall really good.

Opened the can and this beer smells like chocolate. Pours rather dark. Went to taste this and was overwhelmed by it’s delicious sweetness of chocolate and subtle hints of coffee. This beer is a must for those of us who absolutely love chocolate.

Pours a shiny dark, dark black color. Completely opaque. Thin brown velvety head dissipates pretty steadily leaving just a thin ring of foam along the outside of the beer. Aroma is unbelievably peanut buttery. Underneath the peanut butter there are light bourbon notes, chocolate, almonds and vanilla. It does smell like a candy bar as advertised.
Taste follows the nose with notes of peanut butter, chocolate, almonds, light roasted malts on the back end and a touch of bourbon. The peanut butter and chocolate really dominate the flavor profile of this one. The roasted malts are present, but really subtle. The barrel character is pretty much completely dominated, There is a bit of bourbon in the profile, but its more boozy bourbon, rather than barrel. Feel is on the thin side, with fizzy carbonation. The upshot of the mouthfeel is that its incredibly easy drinking. The downside is, at 14%, easy drinking is quite dangerous.
Overall this is a really delicious "pastry" stout. A real pleasure to drink.

Thanks to Dimidiata for this one, from a ninja box during NBS BIF #12. 12oz can (dated 9/21/20) poured into 14oz teku. Poured the expected solid black color with 1/3-inch of tan head that quickly dissipated to a ring, and had no lacing.
Big peanut at the front of the nose, with some chocolate behind that. Not really getting any of the mentioned almonds, and just hints of the vanilla.
On the palate, the vanilla shows up better, the chocolate and peanut are brighter, and there's some alcohol heat. The downside of that is that the base brew is fairly well hidden. The additions are suppose to support and highlight the beer, not dominate it.
The body was notable thinner than I look for in the big stouts, but was smooth, easy, and didn't have a finish as sweet as i was expecting.
Drinkability was good, although a sipper for sure.
Overall, a pretty nice brew. Worth a shot if you see it.

Decent head production and good retention for the style, sky-high ABV, barrel treatment, and laundry list of additives.
As expected, bourbon on the nose, along with notes of chocolate and vanilla, but those are immediately followed by a prominent nutty aroma, primarily peanuts, which stand out a little more than the almonds.
Wow! Unbelievably smooth, rich, and luscious on the palate; waves and waves of flavor, and just when you think you've had all there is to experience, more comes right at you.
Sweet and dessert-like, but not cloying or cringe-inducing. The up-front sweetness has a vanilla note to it, along with chocolate and bourbon, and carries a lot of brown sugar and a bit of molasses from the malt base. Almost immediately, peanuts and almond join the party, not nearly as strong as on the nose, but quite noticeable and a lovely balance to the sweetness, and adding even more richness and depth.
By mid-sip, the bourbon and high ABV have added a boozy heat, reminding you that, yes, this is a big, big beer. The sweetness never fades, instead just changes slightly in character over the course of the sip, the nuts fading, chocolate emerging here and there, malt base driving elsewhere. Vanilla remains a fairly constant presence from start to finish.
Maple syrup-like finish, driven by the confluence of almond, vanilla, cacao, sweet bourbon mash tones, and the massive malt base. Long wet finish, with the peanuts returning for a very gentle salty kiss.
This is absolutely delectable. With all the additives, and the barrel treatment, everything makes itself known, yet everything also comes together in an incredible overall package. It's rich, decadent, dark, deep, and absolutely a phenomenal dessert stout.

This beer looks amazing. Thick pouring. Pitch black. 2 finger really dark brown head. The bubbles are so tiny. Retention is amazing for such a strong beer. No lacing on the glass.
The nose is a deep rich nutty peanut butter aroma. Deep notes of the barrel on this beer. Slighty boozy aroma, but nothing over the top. A nice vanilla aroma, and a hint of caramel as well mixed in with some chocolate.
Taste - A bit of vanilla is up front. On the backside it is a choir of peanuts, and cocoa. It's a peanut butter cup really, yet with alcohol and a hint of vanilla.
The body is thick and full. There is no boozy feel to this beer at all. It is just thick, yet smooth.
This is just hitting everything so well for me, and I'm in paradise.
