This is described as "fermented with Brettanomyces and hopped 100% with Nelson." Pours a cloudy yellowish with dissipating foam in the Affligem chalice. Quite aromatic, but a strange odor like spoiled grapes along with tangerine peel. The brett is quite in evidence but I'm not liking it with the fruit juice flavor as much in other beers.
Moderately sweet with the dry finish. Astringent aftertaste. The yeast seems to take over after a few sips. Quite sudsy on the tongue. Does not improve and now I'm tasting blackberry jam with stems and a dose of aspirin. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine Y Vine. No date but it's new for January.
