Fruitlands is tart, fruity and frighteningly delicious. The sour, salty base lays down a stellar foundation for heavy doses of strawberry, lime and hibiscus, making for a stupendously successful, fruit-lead flavor expedition. It's a marvelous mix of elements that collides with your mouth like a fruit-filled asteroid of flavor traveling at the supersonic speed of party.

Golden body; coarse carbonation; thin yet frothy head, white. Strawberry and lime scent. Sweet, fruity flavor; fresh strawberry and lime; citrus tones; subliminal salt. Medium body; juicy with a mild tartness.

For what it is, the brewer's hit their mark. After almost a year, the strawberry and lime elements seem fresh and are very forward. My kind of beer? No. A bad beer. No. A nice example for lovers of fruit-forward beers. This would make for a fine warm weather thirst quencher.

It has a red bull kind of flavor. It started out pretty good but the end not so much.

this is a banger, and i am becoming a huge fan of this fruitlands series, a gose base, salted sour wheat, simple and clean, not too tart, nice and low alcohol, dry, and with prickly high carbonation, a perfect base for all kinds of flavors, and the robust natural strawberry and lime this one features is exceptional. slightly pink and a little hazy from the tall can, fizzy as can be with a prominent nose of sweet ripe strawberries and piquant lime zest, clean lactic tang, minerals, light brine, and pale wheat, simple but appealing as can be, lightly mouthwatering. i like how its not soda or juice or dessert, flavorful as it is this is still beer first time, hard to do with modern flavors like this, but the wheat can be tasted and felt in the texture, and there is a yeast element to this that does it a lot of favors toward this end. the added flavors drive it though, natural key lime type twang, juicy berry, they go so well together and this almost has an umbrella cocktail vibe. not too sour to drink the whole can, not at all, and not forced on the flavors, not artificial, its really real and downright delicious, even if its a lot more summer beer than wintertime stuff. i wish more modern times stuff came around idaho, but this is money and i will look forward to the next edition!
