If BA adds a style for Double New England, this would be it. Hazy amber brew with slippery mouthfeel. Quite acidic with plenty of the murky fruit juice sensation. Brewery says it is dry-hopped with Mosaic plus "a sprinkling of Citra and Eureka." Huge orange aroma with honeysuckle.
This is very sweet and fruity, though not enough to balance the hot, alcoholic, and throat-attacking feeling of bitter orange peel. It's another classic of the modern MT style of hop overdose with killer fruit bomb yeast. From the 16 oz can purchased at Best Damn. Dated 11/12/2020 on the bottom.
