Clear golden yellow body. Crisp light pilsner malt, mildly toasted bread, bright floral and light herbal hop bite. Touch of grapefruit zest as well, dances on the palate so nicely. Medium lighter bodied, easy drinking, nice carbonation, disappears fast.

Thanks, Chris!

A crystal clear light yellow with a dense, white head that falls off rapidly leaving little lacing. The nose is wonderful. Bright, snappy, perfumey with the classic hop burst character that the best Italian pils have, intensely floral and with lemon, lime and a little dust. The palate opens crisp and snappy, with a bitter pungent and yet floral hop note. Not much by way of malt, this is firm, snappy cracker, minimally sweet with lots of hop flavor. Bitter yet floral and with a touch of sweetened lemon flavor, this is light in body, crisply carbonated and just awesome.

Thanks to CaliforniaKid for this 16 oz. extra. More Modern Times always better.

The pour is very pale gold with a ravishing, short-lived white wig. The nose has a surprisingly bold hit of black pepper mingled with citrus, lemon. Not bad.

Real Chill brings one word to mind: clean. There’s loads going on here: the black pepper & lemon from the nose are ascendant but laced with citrus, moderate bitterness, & a perfume-like aftertaste. Light & breezy like a Sunday morning, this one won’t last long.

I don’t believe I’ve had a pilsner with this much going on under the surface. I dig. A very good brew that borders on excellent.
