Born of two of our marquee imperial stouts, this monstrous mashup consists of Monsters’ Park & Mega Devil’s Teeth. If that noble beverage lineage wasn’t enough to get you on board, each of the beers also happened to spend a whopping 20 months in Kentucky bourbon barrels. Yeah, woah.

Bomber at share. Black pour, oily, ring of beige head. Aroma is Roasty malts, chocolate, prunes, bourbon. Taste is sweet, riasins, chocolate, coffee bitterness, prunes, dates. Lots of bourbon notes and the associated booziness.

Received from @dimidiata in an LIF associated with NBW BIF #14.
Poured black coffee and was opaque black in the glass. A dark brown head tried and failed. No lacing.
The aroma was dark fruit and roasted malts and bourbon. It’s likely more nuanced than that but my sinuses are still not quite right.
The taste followed, along with an alcohol burn that presented as cinnamon. Interesting.
The feel was pretty spot on for the style, though with no carbonation it lacked any life.
OA, good BA stout, not one of my personal favorites but I’m used to the Midwest style stout maybe.
