Solid. Slight unfiltered light copper body. Crisp citrus, grapefruit and lots of pine. Medium caramel malt backbone, more grapefruit and citrus peel. Medium bodied, good carbonation. Medium floral and citrus bitterness.

Classic 22 oz. bomber served up in a snifter glass. Pours a clear light copper maybe deep golden in color. A thin cap of whitish foam tosses off some malt muddled citric hop notes. Not too defined but pleasant and adequate at cloaking the abv while not being cloying in nature. A decent balance in that respect.
Taste of muddled lesser modified malt, hint of caramel but in balance. Touch off with esters and a bit thin at times on the aroma. Not much for bitterness for the stab at a classic West Coast IPA. Well, I think that's the plan. A good swirl yields hope but only makes me want a Ruination. I'm sorry, did I say that out loud.
For one, I would like to see more beers of this style but the world has changed. I think I might drive East on the 8 tomorrow...

22 oz bomber into a pint glass
Classic WC IPA, throwback to all the Cali IPA’s that really drew me into the craft beer scene. Citrus-rindy bouquet, honeyed malts with warming booze. Piny and citrusy on the palate, nice balance of bitter and sweet aspects makes it easy to throw back.
Glad these are coming back. Inherently superior to hazies.
