22 oz bomber into a snifter
Sludgy BA stout, way too viscous for any head to form. Aromas are rich and oaky, with the added vanilla taking front and center. Flavors follow, with heavy notes of cocoa, vanilla, burnt sugar. The added lime doesn’t really work here…kinda flattens the flavor profile and gets lost in the shuffle. Finishes long and sweet, with lingering residuals.
Not sure if this was a preconceived concept…add rum barrel-aged stout and lime in the hopes of tropical flair (hence the name), but if anything is takes away from the absolutely delicious BBA/pastry stouts MT has been putting out recently.

Bottle at share. Black pour with a thin beige head. Aroma...where to start? Coconut, vanilla, rum, coffee. Taste brings more of the same, blended MT style to perfection. Imperial stout for the tropical beach? coming right up!
