This wildly successful collab between our beer and coffee departments is a blended imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels. The coffee was roasted exclusively for this project and brings an incredible mélange of honeycomb, marshmallow, and graham cracker to the beer’s notes of chocolate, caramel, bourbon, and coffee. It’s a delightful marriage of two seriously exceptional beverages.

22 oz bomber into a snifter
With added extended fermentation Zambia honey process coffee
Sludgy BA stout, more viscous that the ABV portends. Full bouquet, with plenty of oak and vanilla…not as much coffee as you’d think. It shows up on the palate, but just a touch…one of the reasons I like MT’s coffee beers is there’s just a little accent, not overwhelming. Interestingly, the honey from the fermented process coffee shows up here more than the coffee itself.
A fairly simple BA’d coffee stout, but tasty and drinkable.
