We brewed this IPA with a focus on cryogenic hops, adding tons of Mosaic, Simcoe, and Cryo Pop to create a beautiful bouquet replete with tangerine, blueberry, and guava, and mango. It’s like riding a toboggan made of citrus peel through a tropical snowstorm into a blueberry thicket.
Hops: Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, Cryo Pop, Simcoe Cryo
Malt: 2 Row, Malted Oats, Munich 10

Can poured into a Modern Times Beer Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Toasty bready malt, citrus, pine, and underlying tropical and stone fruit.
T: Spicy pine, floral, citrus, lemon and grapefruit, underlying fruity notes, apricot, peach, blueberry, pineapple, passion fruit, and melon, toasty bready malt, and a pretty dry finish.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: According to the original description I saw of this beer it was supposed to have Chinook instead of Simcoe and Cryo Pop and be more winter themed. Somewhere along the line that got changed up and while I can see where they were going with it, I'm not sure the pivot to being more fruity worked out as seamlessly as they had hoped. They did pull out some nice flavors from the hops, but they didn't really mash up well with the Munich malt. Drinkable, but I think overall it misses the mark.

Wow! Cryogenic hop tech shines through. Inoffensive yet potently funky hops that straddle the line between almost too bitter but then, magically, it’s not…medium to dry finish with a pleasant tapering of what is initially a nice little slap to the face of piney, citrusy goodness with a berry funk. Strong yet balanced. I’m happy with the downplayed sea green winter can color and the quality India pale ale inside. Very good WCIPA!
