Oily black, even leaving some tiny dots (of oak?) and grease smears on the glass, with absolutely no head.
Sweet dark fruit, tobacco and stinging bourbon swirl through a hefty base of chocolate while vanillin goes to 10.

Pitch black pour, light brown ring. Huge bourbon with dark oak, molasses, dark chocolate, and faint vanillins in nose. Taste also led by the bourbon, but not as sweet with molasses being more the black strap variety, dried dark fruit, char, and earth injected into the dark chocolate. Feel is the best part: great barrels felt the whole sip, warm, thick, chewy and full.
