22 oz bomber into a snifter
Was expecting a bit more here…not sure if the rum and bourbon BA blending caused some sort of conflict, but something is off.
Nose is traditional BBA stout, not picking up much coconut here. Super oaky of course.
Coconut shows up a bit more on the palate, along with some carob and semi sweet chocolate. And it’s well rounded with a strong oaky backbone. But it could’ve been a lot more. Simple complexion and just kinda falls flat. Still, it’s an MT barrel-aged brew…grading on a curve here.
