22 oz bomber into a snifter
Interesting collab with Maui Brewing since Maui bought Modern Times during the whole sexual harrassment fallout. Not sure how much collaboration was going on other than using Hawaiian ingredients in a Modem Tones recipe. Whatever, it's absolutely delicious.
Looks and smells like Modem Tones...jet black, crude oil appearance with an oaky, bourbon-y nose, with big wafts of cocoa and vanilla. But the black sugar and Hawaiian vanilla really dries out the brew (relatively speaking). It's like the driest pastry stout I've had, if there is such a thing.
