We reworked one of our well-loved beers a bit, keeping the bones the same: Mega Devil’s Teeth aged for 3 years in Bourbon Barrels, Modem Tones aged for 2.5 years in Maple Syrup and Domestic Brandy Barrels, and Monsters’ Park aged in Domestic Brandy Barrels. We added equal amounts of Toasted and Untoasted Coconut, Madagascar Vanilla Beans, and Idea Machine Medium Roast Coffee beans. These barrels create such a unique harmony for the adjuncts to float on. The brandy especially added a great, almost dark fruit note.

Since I’ve reviewed all the base beers, the only thing I’ll add is that the whole is so much more than the sum of its parts. The nose is far more oaky and tobacco-y than I expected, and the flavors take a detour into decadent, marshmallow-y, fruity goodness. Holy shit this is amazing.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
