Mega Devil's Teeth: Double Dutch S'mores. We teamed up with Stroop Club, a vegan pastry company out of Austin, Texas to create a S’mores beer featuring their vegan Stroopwafels, Cocoa Nibs, Ugandan Vanilla Beans, and Marshmallows. Look forward to lots of sweetness, heaps of vanilla, and a pillowy, amazing taste experience.

Bomber at share. Inky black pour with a thin layer of tight brown foam. Aroma is roasty and sweet, molasses, chocolate and bourbon. Taste adds notes of vanilla, coffe and even a hint of graham cracker. Big, sweet, boozy, gooey dessert treat.

this is pretty epic, but its no surprise, modern times has always done the enormous flavored stouts as well or better than anyone, and this is just a continuation of their long lineage of epic dark beers in this fashion. sick to find this on tap, and especially cool to try given the recent announcement of their partial closure, a shame what these guys have been reduced to after being so mighty not that long ago. anyway, this is epic, viscous and black, without really any head at all from the tap super long legs. it smells like marshmallows, lots of those in here must be, heavy chocolate too, some balancing bitter roasted dark barley and an espresso thing, tons of bourbon and barrel char, vanilla also abounds, molasses, toffee, maple cream, and even hazelnut also come out, the vanilla is sexy and strong, the alcohol is there but it seems to enhance the added ingredients, and the base stout is predictably excellent to my senses. the flavor here is similar, not sure im getting a stroopwafel, thats a big reach, but i guess with vanilla and caramel and mid malt cookie notes, it approximates it well enough. totally palate coating from the first sip, alcohol and vanilla warmth, like a cozy blanket for my palate, thats first and last for me, but in the middle is good coffee, dry cocoa with some bitterness, strong maple, and and almost salted thing that seems to enhance it all. silky feel, long and smoothed out, with the oak coming up quite a lot as it warms, pleasant whiskey notes all through it too, and warm but not hot alcohol character, just right. some graham cracker at the end again playing stroopwafel, but like the kind you get on a united flight, not a bad thing. some sweet vanilla linger, totally decadent, like its rich and sweet but its not too much, i absolutely loved this, with me for awhile in more ways than one, but its wonderful beer, not to be missed! i hope modern times can keep this part of their business alive...

Baker's chocolate, vanilla sandwich cookies, vanilla-marshmallow, and a bourbon boozy nose on this one! Taste follows with a smooth and viscous, vanilla wafer cookie, milk chocolate, a hint of marshmallow, and a bourbon barrel finish. This is good stuff! The only thing lacking IMO is a little more flavor development on the palate from the additions here.
