It was racked out and into barrels that first held Tawny Port, then were used for finishing Bourbon for 33 months before making their way to us. Dark fruit leather, maybe a little plum, and a wonderful mélange of delightful flavors float across the palate. These were incredibly unique barrels, resulting in a fantastically unique beer.

22 oz bomber into a taster glass

Typical Modem Tones syrupy black liquid. Nose is of black cherries, fortified wine, oak, wrapped in lingering hot booze.

One of the more layered flavor profiles I’ve tasted in a stout. Old fashioned meets butter rum meets liquid tiramisu. Super chewy complexion, an incredible sipper.
