MT Reserve is a new brand of ours meant to showcase two things that are very important to us: Time and oak. Aged 36 months in Elias Butte 18 year Bourbon Barrels
This beer is Modem Tones aged 37 months in 18-year-old Elias Butte Barrels. This is a project not many other breweries can take on! Not everyone can dedicate time and space to extra-aging of beer, but we can. The resulting beer is incredibly nuanced. Tons of flavors dance across the palate, including dark chocolate, bourbon, caramelized sugars, and more.

22 oz bomber into snifter
Wow. So sad this isn’t gonna be released again. Super decedent BBA stout with a nose of oak and toffee. Flavors are of caramel, honeycomb, cigar, sweetened cocoa. Enough oak to balance everything. Unbelievable, would’ve sold for 10x retail ten years ago.

Look - Black and thick with slight rimming nice lacing
Smell and taste - so much barrel with a nice caramel and chocolate
Feel - full body creamy light carb
