This is the second Singularity Edition we have done. The concept behind this series is to source rare, extended aged bourbon barrels and use them for aging one of our beloved Stouts for a month per year that the Bourbon was aged.
This isn’t just to play on numbers, though. It also gives our fans a peek into how we review and taste our BA Stouts using one of the most important ingredients we use in our program, TIME. Expressive notes of smooth as silk Bourbon blend beautifully with the bitter-sweet chocolate, roast finish and well-balanced body of the beer. Along with faint notes of roasted marshmallow and a perfect amount of oak make this a real treat.

22 oz bomber into snifter
I think they kinda snuck this in before they were closing…whale hunting was over and no need to make a fuss
Oily viscous brew smells of rich oak and ripe cherries, vanilla and caramel. Cocoa and coffee on, rich and dry. Was expecting this to a be a sugar bomb…rich and dry and bourbon-y and they come. Absolute gem of the beer…hope I find this someday in another form.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
