12 oz can poured into a tulip glass. Pours a clear straw yellow with a hint of copper. Aroma and flavor feature bready/biscuity malt along with some hops which offer a bit of citrus and pine that seems incongruous in an oktoberfest - not overwhelming, but noticeable. Crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. Overall it's very enjoyable.

This is a 12oz. can dumped into a 20oz. weizen glass. is was an aggressive pour giving me a solid two fingers of foam. The foam slowly receded to a thin cap, leaving no lacing behind. The foam is a light tan over a hazy medium amber beverage. Very nice to look at! The carbonation is a steady medium bubble parade ascending upwards.
The aroma is very nice and noticeable from a distance. There is a sweet yeast flavor moving through the air. This is what I expect from a Marzen.
The flavor is sweet, crisp, slightly dry, with a very slight bitter finish that cuts the sweetness perfectly.
If I knew this beer tasted this good, it would not have aged in my frig the last six weeks. This Cincy made Rhinegeist will find a spot in my shopping cart next fall! A very solid Oktobefest!
