Found this Brew in an IPA variety pack offered by the Brewer. It was better than expected.... Nice frothy head, clean body, crisp and refreshing with just the right amount of Hop.

I tried this at the Daily Growler in Powell, Ohio. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had waifs citrus peel goodness. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit peel presence and finished dry. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was an decent beer.

Golden and clear. Excellent lace from a relatively modest head.
Lightly sweet with a floral hop that is far more attractive than this description.
The tasting is a touch more harsh than the smell with a peppery hop bite. The body is thin and effervescent. I get mango and some other melon elements. The flavor is fruity and bitter. The combination works because the tastes shifts throughout. The finish primarily bitter.

With the soul of a wheat beer but the personality of IPA, the "white" IPA of Rhinegeist doesn't back away from the bitter, floral and fruit presence of hop heavy beer but does so with the soft underbelly of bready wheat and brisk pilsner graininess.
Powder pours with modestly hazed, pale gold color and then crowned with a fluffy white cap. Its bright hoppy perfume swirls about the nose with a bouquet of citrus, pine and grassiness while its taste is soft with pastry, dough and light powdered sugar.
As the ale opens up, the malt sweetness and bready textures fade and the hops begin to rise. Lemon and grapefruit take the lead and await the grassy bitterness to set in. Together and tangy and herbal taste of lemongrass, lemon pepper, verbena and sassafras decorate the finish along with a long resinous bitterness seemingly of torn pinecone.
Medium bodied and crisp in finish, the beer's wheaten structure allows for added creaminess and body, forcing a supportive malt balance against the bitter brunt from hops. An aftertaste of citrus rind and fresh dough work in tandem in aftertaste with the bitterness lingering indefinitely.

Light beer taste with very little bite that an IPA. Not much more positive I can say. This is a better than average beer, just not the standard I would expect from one labeled IPA/APA.
