A really nice look to this beer, good amount of lacing as well. Unfortunately I had to rush through my pint and wasn't able to enjoy this beer as much as I probably would have if I had taken my time. Very tasty and was impressed none the less. Similar to truth and yet still a totally different beer. Similar in it's aromas and some flavors. Different in that Super Truth tasted and finished much cleaner. Overall . . . I liked it.

 

Tap. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex earthy and citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. This a standout beer.

 

 

 

To me, Truth is the Ohio beer that is so close in quality to the top Ohio IPAs but doesn't quite measure up. Then comes Super Truth--it has that nice malt presence of Truth, but with that some nice dry hopped bitterness that adds something special. This still closely resembles the original, but I do think this a bit better. Also, the appearance was noticeably better, and it was served on top with a stubborn large head. Nearly world class, and definitely wish it was more available.

 

Super good, and super limited edition. Everything enjoyable about the traditional Truth IPA but bigger and bolder. Dry hopped and masterfully delicious. Rhinegeist needs to market this one a bit more aggressively in the region (OH, KY); it's a best-in-class in my opinion.
