First Amber ipa I've had. It was a lot better than expected!

Nice amber color with a slight haze to it. The head quickly dissipates leaving some nice lacing. It has a hoppy taste, but not over the top with some subtle fruity notes.

The body of a is beer is a gorgeous Amber tone with just the right hint of orange on the edges. Head is a arm tone of beige. Head reaches nearly an inch and fades quick leaving mountains of lace behind. Nose is a wonderful mix of bold hope and rustic hops. With first sip if I didn't know better I would just think this was just a really well made IPA. A distinct malt backbone supports a lushes hop body. This is a lovely brew no matter what you call it.

Not a huge "red" anything beer fan but this one really surprised the hell out of me. Beautiful color, the nose is awesome (very hoppy, some mango notes in there, very unique). I thought the taste was great for a 7.5% DIPA. I could see people getting hung up on the "red IPA" thing but this is a tasty brew. Glad I bought 2.
