I had this on draught at the brewery. It was served on nitro. 16 oz. pour in a pint glass. I've never had a Blonde Stout before and the description is apt: it pours an attractive golden honey color with a thick, creamy milk-white head and lacing with excellent retention. The nose features freshly-brewed coffee, vanilla, and a whiff of hazel nuts. It's a pleasing aroma. The taste is really interesting: it opens with caramel and freshly-brewed coffee and continues with an "oaty" flavor and hazel nuts that become more prevalent as the glass warms. Being served on nitro, it's lite, super creamy, and easy to drink at 7% ABV although it's a tad thin for a stout. Overall, this stout is unique in color, flavorful, and a nice change of pace. I'd gladly drink it again.

My bro-in-law bought this one from beer store just around the corner. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent is espresso roast. The taste is roast leaning with coffee base. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it's decent....certainly worth a try.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, vanilla, honey, toasted oats, biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of cocoa/coffee and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, vanilla, honey, toasted oats, biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Light herbal hop and cocoa/roast bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, vanilla, honey, toasted oats, biscuit, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of cocoa/coffee and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Slight dryness from hop/cocoa notes. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly chalky/sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a very nice coffee/cocoa golden ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of cocoa/coffee and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Very vibrant on coffee/cocoa flavors with a great creamy mouthfeel; and never too bitter. A very enjoyable offering.
