Tasty pale ale from Rhinegeist. Flavor is ripe melon and orange rind. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Would order this one again...too bad I don't see it around town very often.

Very good pale ale with nice citrusy aroma and flavor. I found it to be very "drinkable" with great balance. The citrus is evident, but importantly doesn't take away from or overwhelm the hops to the point where I would call it "fruity". Actually one of my favorite pale ales I have tried. Highly recommended.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange red with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus hops, nice aroma. Tastes of citrus and grassy hops, nice combination. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, an above average beer.

A very solid pale ale. very drinkable. not overbearing but at the same time very flavorful. if you are seeking a solid pale ale in line with sierra nevada this will work. the only problem i have with it is thats its a seasonal. its not a fresh hop so i do wonder why they only offer it in the fall. i would definitely drink it year round

Appearance - pours slightly cloudy copper color with nice white head that settles to a thin cap. Spotty lacing.
Aroma - Lemon, grapefruit, malt, citrus peel, bread and floral hops.
Taste - Well balanced flavors of malt, citrus peel and bread. Earthy floral hops come in nicely on the finish.
Feel - light bodied well carbonated really easy drinking and refreshing.
Overall - hits the spot, solid balanced flavors and easy drinking.

From the 12 fl. oz. can dated 090817. Sampled far after that on June 22, 2018.
A foggy looking orange-amber pour underneath the long lasting, boisterous foamy white head with some particles floating about.
The age of this has tainted the aroma, which at one time probably had a bold orange and tropical fruit sensation. But now I pick up a tobacco-herb bomb with white bread.
The body is around medium.
The taste brings out a musty malt sweetness with a slight hint of the tropics but mostly the malts. Mild bitterness at the finish. I would be interested in trying a fresher one some time.

Can dated 7-Nov-22? Short old fashioned glass.
A: pale golden orange, slightly hazy, with 1/2 finger white head that lasted fairly well. No lacing and low carb visible.
S: tropical and grassy hops, slight citrus, very new-wave hoppy, but not as bright as some - more straight on tropical: mango and grass. Good malt backbone. Not terribly unlike Sierra Nevada pale, but more tropical for sure. Not as bright, citrusy, or resinous as Thunderlips.
T: pretty much follows the nose, good malt backbone, tropical grassy hops, pineapple, herbal, very drinkable. Clean finish.
M: solidly mid-bodied, moderate carbonation and clean finishing.
O: I like it. Crushable American pale with newer hop varieties. Nothing to make it stand out, just a hoppy, well-executed APA. Probably better fresh.
