Poured from a 22oz bottle into a pint glass. No date on the bottle.
Pours a translucent shade of straw. Bright white head, that lingers throughout and leaves behind a great lace. A lot of tropical fruit aromas with resiny and piney undertones. A lot of fruity notes from the hops, mild grapefruit, honeydew, and pine with a dry, malty finish. Light bodied with a crisp, refreshing finish. Overall a pretty run of the mill IPA. Nothing makes this stand out from the rest , but this is a nice beer at a good price.

The popular stuff always claims top spot. But those in the know, those who understand the quality at heart, those who aren't easily swayed by ebbs and flows of trends all know that the best stuff always resides on the B Side.
And the Rhinegeist beer under the same guise springs to life with a hazy gold pour, an aromatic wood, citrus and tropical medley and an initial palate that's soft, bready and lightly caramelized.
As the ale unfolds, its creamy froth relaxes and the middle palate comes to life with a relaxing caramel sweetness and an elevated bitterness that's laced with white and red grapefruit, orange zest, lemon and tropical flavors. Pineapple, passionfruit, gooseberry, kiwi and pear all play into the taste just as the spicy bitterness of pepper, fresh grassiness, pine and an herbal lemon verbena and tea flavor shows both the broad bitterness of English bitter but also that sharp citrus of American IPA
Medium yet trending dry, crisp and clean, the beer's body suggests pale ale but its dry hoppy rate is more align with IPA. Its sharp finish is stemmy with the light hop-derived astringency of sassafras, exotic botanicals and a pepper-sharp closure
