Different. You should try this. Surprisingly tasty. Pineapple and something I can’t put my finger on but it’s cool.

Had on tap. Pours clear, gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is melon and pineapple. Medium bodied and carbonation, slightly sweet. Makes for an average to slightly above average wild ale. Not one I would rush out for but not bad.

Look - cloudy copper yellow tannish color with a good head and skimming
Smell - funky tart floral
Taste - pineapple funky tart, must be in the yeast or something... slightly bitter
Feel - medium light body with a slight fizz carb
Overall - I was expecting more. Bitter funky wild ale blended with an IPA.

Kicking off the celebration for birthday number four, our little Rhinegest Brewery is growing up so fast, playing around with sourish taste, an earthy nose and a ripened pungency that's worthy of praise.
Is it barnyardy, is it pineappley? Both seem to align equally on the nose along with a backdrop of citrus, cider, white wine and fragrant sandalwood. Hazy gold, bright and sunny, the beer's appearance is frothy and long, an appealing prelude to a malty sweet taste of bunt cake, honey and biscuit.
Its earthiness loosens across the middle palate and the fruit leaps ahead. Tropical pineapple, mango and apricot bleed into a citrus taste of pink grapefruit, weathered orange, and then an herbal remedy of flavor. Trailing bitterness is mild and teases the senses with a peppery sensation of dry oak, alligator pepper and white pepper to balance the light pastry sweet linger.
Taunting and teasing the palate with brief strikes of sourness and peat , the beer that emerges from its fruity and spicy umbrella is one of funk and fauna and fruit, that lingers broadly, dusty and briefly in aftertaste.
