For those moments when "Fuck it! I'm out of here." is the only answer for a hard day's work, the folks at Rhinegeist Brewery has a beer just for that occasion. Light, crisp and refreshing, an assertive hop profile and a light session will have you sitting on a boat and drinking those worries away in no time flat.
Pale gold and cast with a moderate hop derived haze, Jobbie Nooner kicks off the day drinking with a scent of citrus, herb, vegetation and grain. Light honey sweetness greets the tongue along with mild aspects of cereal, wafer and whole wheat.
Sweetness takes a backseat to the hops as the middle palate transpires. White grapefruit, orange peel, lemon peel and an overall bright, tangy and herbal flavor complement joins the citrus with forms of fresh grassiness, geranium, verbena and sassafras. Tea-like and moderately bitter, the beer's mild stemmy bite carries an aura of hay and chive.
Medium bodied but trending dry, the ale refreshes the late palate with a bitter linger of pineapple rinds, botanical grasses and mint into a medium long aftertaste and a return of whole wheat and citrus.
