16 oz can, 12/31/19 bought from Craft Brewed in Nashville, TN.
Rogue Spiegelau.
Hazy but certainly not juicy or creamy/opaque blonde color, with a creamy head of 2 fingers, leaving lots of lace as it recedes. The higher score is for the head, not the body.
Aroma is herbal with some slight shoe leather and plastic; slight basil and thai spices, grapefruit, lemon, tea.
Flavor is robust with grapefruit, heavy caramel malt, skittles, lemon pepper, rainbow sherbet, and Sprite. Quite eccentric.
Feel is acidic but not particularly juicy or creamy. Probably the most acidic beer I've had without actually being juice. Warming alcohol, lots of carbonation that sits in the stomach.
Overall not an impressive beer but it is not a drain pour. Pretty decent stuff. Might not have again but it was cool to have it once.

Canned 1/8/19; drank 7/28/19 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big white head; frothy lace.
Sweet'N Low, orange peel, mild caramel & faint pine notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Sweet'N Low & orange peel flavors up front; pine & caramel notes on the finish.
Pretty much the opposite of the New England style; this is a gross West Coast monstrosity. Permanent pass.

I got a 4pck of this from my local beer store just around the corner. The beer poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had hints passion fruit. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical citrus peel presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

"Hazy Imperial IPA" brewed with Drenali, Chinook, Sabro, and Vic Secret hops. Poured from a can into a New Belgium snifter. The pour is (surprise!) hazy and very light gold in color. It sports a well-formed two fingers of fluffy white foam with good retention. The nose is fresh and lively with notes of lemon, fresh-cut grass, linen, pineapple, and white pepper,
Medium-light body with a delicate feel and a bright, hoppy flavor. Hops come at you immediately, but they are not too aggressive and support the flavor instead of trying to overpower you. They intensify a little bit as the beer moves across your palate, but never to the point where they become offputting or unbalanced. It's simply a sharp, pleasant, citrus-like bitterness that take a firm (not painful) hold and doesn't let go. Featured flavors include lemon, tangerine, grapefruit, and a light champagne-like stoney dryness. The body is light, but there is ample malt backbone. Speaking of which, I would never guess this beer is northwards of 8% abv.
A solid IIPA for fans of American IPAs. Lots of flavor, but it doesn't turn into a pecker contest. Very reminiscent of Hop Ranch from Vi ctory, but with more body. I would definitely buy this beer again and I hope Rhinegeist makes it a regular seasonal.

Taking no backseat to the haze craze game, Rhinegeist breaks out an imperial status, New England styled IPA that unloads a healthy heaping of Denali, Chinook, Sabro and Vic Secret hops for a full aromatic array, juicy flavor and a smooth bitterness to boot. C'mon Rhinegeist, give someone else a chance!
Pouring with a pale goldenrod appearance and casting a matte sheen on the glass, Alpha Squid leaps right out with a complex fruit filled scent of tropical fruit and citrus with a sprucy and herbal component to reel in the senses. The fullness of whole wheat brings a light pastry maltiness with the sweet taste of light honey, cobbler and marmalade once the flavors hit the tongue.
But once the juicy elixir splashes the middle palate, the full effects of hops are tasted. Vast and varying with pineapple, mango, apricot, passionfruit and kiwi, the tropical fruit flavors soon bleed into a more citrusy zip of radiant, branch ripe oranges, pink grapefruit and a lemon lime medley that's remiss of sherbet. Flavors of woods and leaf swirl about the late palate as nuances of green tea, sassafras, potpourri and marzipan accompany a smooth but peppery bitterness nearing late palate.
Medium full in body, the wheaten undertow of the beer remains creamy despite the full fruit and botanical display. A medium long finish is sprinkled with the taste of gin-like spice with a perfumy component while fruit rinds echo gently in aftertaste.
